House of Orange is a destination for Dutch Design homewares & furniture.  Part made-to-order furniture, part homewares, part interiors boutique, our collections are available though our showrooms in Armadale, Prahran & online.  We also have a thriving national wholesale network and a manufacturing arm located in Melbourne’s Inner East.  As we enter a new busy chapter, we are seeking energetic, enthusiastic, hands on & motivated individuals to join our team.  At House of Orange we pride ourselves on the highest level of service at every stage of the customer journey.  We have created an environment that is both exciting and collaborative and supports employee growth.

 

FULL TIME RETAIL SALES FOR ARMADALE

Job Brief:

We are looking for an individual with high energy, sales & customer service experience and a love for interiors and design to join us as a full-time retail staff member in our Armadale showroom.

5 days per week, weekends on rotation.

 

PART TIME RETAIL SALES FOR ARMADALE

Job Brief:

We are looking for an individual with high energy, sales & customer service experience and a love for interiors and design to join us as a part-time retail staff member in our Armadale showroom.

20 hours per week, weekends on rotation.

 

FULL TIME RETAIL SALES FOR COLLINGWOOD

We are looking for an individual with high energy, sales & customer service experience and a love for interiors and design to join us as a full-time retail staff member in new Collingwood showroom opening early March.  Immediate start available in Armadale for training before migrating to Collingwood.

5 days per week, weekends on rotation.

 

The successful applicants will have an eye for detail, are solutions driven, efficient, able to multitask and passionate about retail.  They will be responsible for driving sales and reaching targets and will ensure an exceptional customer experience and provide creative home styling solutions. 

Light cleaning and popping the bins out on bin night are also on the list!

Your Role:

  • Consistently meet and exceed sales budgets and targets
  • Inventory management, replenishment, stock control, pricing, merchandising
  • Maintain exceptional customer service
  • Additional tasks such as close of day.
  • Light cleaning duties

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Retail experience essential
  • Inspiring visual merchandising standards
  • Strong organiSational, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Understanding of Office 365, Xero and CIN7 (or similar stock management system)
  • Motivating leadership skills
