As safe and sturdy as our children's loft beds are, we don’t recommend them for little ones under 6 years of age. If you do have a toddler in the house that likes to explore, you can easily add a ladder block to your bed for extra peace of mind. Our ladder blocks come in our signature colour range to compliment your bed and will stop little ones from being able to climb up unattended.

We also see a lot of people choosing to add bookshelves, cupboards and even extra beds. Running a single or double bed perpendicular to the wall underneath your loft bed allows for the extra sleeping space you might want, without taking up the entire footprint.

The remaining space could be used for a bedside table, a beanbag chair or any other small piece of furniture that might add a little extra functionality or fun to your space.
